I have been trying to add items for THE LIEUTENANT OF INISHMORE and SPRING AWAKENING, with some (but not total) success.
What I have learned so far-
ADD CONTENT ONLY in the order that Mojo suggests-
Which means- to the best of my knowledge-
1. Create a show. (not YOUR production; that comes later.)
2. Create Synopsis.
3. Add the characters from the show (not YOUR cast; that comes later.)
4. If it's a musical, Add songs- you now link those to the character(s) who sing them, and the show they are in.
5. Now add pages for the PEOPLE INVOLVED IN YOUR PRODUCTION. You need to list everyone in the cast, at least, or their names won't link when you create the page for YOUR production- which you are not ready to do yet!
6. Is this group of people putting on the show part of a company? Create the company page NOW.
HERE'S WHERE YOUR HARD WORK PAYS OFF:
7. Create a page for YOUR PRODUCTION! If you have done everything correctly, and IN ORDER, as you add the show, it will come up within the database as you start typing it. As you add your cast, each actor's name will pop up while you are typing it. Then the character they are playing will pop up as well.
If you have audio/video clips, those can NOW be added/linked to the appropriate shows/characters/productions as you see fit!
Your having entered all this IN ORDER will pay off and be easier as more shows, stars, etc. are added to the database. TRUST ME! I've been learning the hard way!
